Audrey Cooper - Founder
|
Audrey Cooper moved to London in 2003. She began working on her first series of paintings depicting her memories of growing up on The Danforth in Toronto in 2005.
Audrey shares much of her past and present through her work. Her vibrant cityscapes are crowded with engaging characters and stories; no moment is too small to be captured in a humorous and vivid portrait. She founded ArtwithPanache in 2012. Her works have been shown in the London Mayor’s Office, TAP, The Art Exchange, and many other art establishments throughout Ontario. |
Chris Allaway |
Chris enjoys spending time with nature, whether it's hiking in the Georgian Bay Area or in Banff and British Columbia, or just relaxing outdoors. It was not until working with fabric while learning to quilt, that she discovered she could create realistic scenes using small bits of fabric. Chris has been working with fabric for approximately 10 years, starting with small wall hangings and gradually teaching herself how to create realistic landscape art. When viewed from a distance her art looks like a painting. People are encouraged to come closer to see that it is done in fabric. Most people are amazed when they realize it is all done with small pieces of fabric that are layered, stitched and stretched on canvas. While there are several textile artists in the area Chris' art is considered unique. |
Julia Armstrong
|
Julia spent her early years developing her artistic eye with photography and gardening. It wasn't until an invitation to join one of Steve Tracy’s classes that her soul opened to the world of painting.
Working primarily alla prima in oils to creating juicy, textured paintings. She often chooses subjects that symbolize the pleasures of life to her; a child gazing into a stream, or a couple enjoying dancing with wild abandonment. Julia is an active member of the St. Marys Stonetown Arts Group and frequently hangs at Art With Panache. |

Kit Cutting
|
Kit loves to paint in all mediums...but oil and pastels are her favourites. Her delicate portraits truly capture the subject's inner-self; the thoughts, feelings, and character behind the physical face.
Since the 90's Kit has created evocative, full-sized, paper mâché sculptures of people, cows, and even a 1950's Cadillac. Lately she has sculpted a series of paper mâché dogs. |
Edward DeMarsh |
Each of Edward's works reveal his fascination with how colour, material, and light can, even in stillness, create a scene or raise an emotion. The works are full of beauty and meaning, and always, of attraction and wonder. He lives in a world of mystery and spirit and looks to express through art how it moves him, so that he can see it more clearly and share it. Edward works with acrylics and mixed medias, and his works often have the qualities of abstract painting and sculpture bound together. That comes naturally to him, and he can trace it back to a night in Niagara Falls at 6 years old. Ask him about that if you meet him in person. Edward shows in Asia and Canada, and internationally online. A highlight for him was representing Canada at the 2019 Chengdu International Design & Creativity Exhibition, Sichuan Province, People's Republic of China. His art site is edwarddemarsh.com. |

Dianne Fleming |
Dianne is a self-taught artist living in London, Ontario and is a member of the London Community Artists group and the Lambeth Artists Association. She has always loved using a brush to paint anything and everything she could.
A few years ago her mother, who painted since Dianne was a child, encouraged her to put paint on canvas and she found a new passion. She fell in love with creating pieces of art that make her happy, evoke a feeling of "calm", or remind her of a special place. Dianne is still exploring different mediums and techniques and searching for her own distinct style. She loves creating abstracts just as much as recreating a picture from a photograph. She hopes her art inspires you as well. www.diflemingart.com |
Lois Covington Fuchs |
Lois Covington Fuchs is a pastel artist living in London, Ontario, and has worked in soft pastels for more than 40 years. While she has worked in many mediums, she prefers the immediacy of pastels for both painting and drawing. She is drawn to realism and the inherent truth of the living form in space. Lois loves the challenge of portraying the essence of that form in the natural expressions that reflect each subject's unique character. Her portraits of people and animals are in private and public collections throughout the U.S. and Canada. www.loisfuchs.com |
Tony Furlong
|
A retired Sergeant Major from the Canadian Armed Forces, Tony was born in New Brunswick and now lives in London, Ontario. He is a self-taught artist who draws inspiration from his travels, photos and his imagination. Oil is the medium from which he attains a desired detail and depth. He is humbled that people enjoy his work and gets a kick out of the fact people buy his art.
His paintings have evolved over many years; from the young boy who used to sketch and do paint-by-numbers to the artist whose depiction of birch trees, landscapes and nautical seascapes warrant attention. |
Don Muller |
Don has been a life-long resident of London. As a child he liked to draw, but not until taking an Architectural Arts course at Fanshawe College in the late 60's, did he become more interested in art. He worked for a year for sculptor Ed Zelenak and then later worked on constructed sculptures on his own. Over the years this interest evolved into carving, then into woodworking, making boxes and occasionally lathe work. Over the years he has taken various art courses, and more recently has been involved with a life drawing group at TAP in downtown London. |
Sandra Nicolucci
|
Sandra has always enjoyed art, but it wasn't until she took a chance lesson 6 years ago that she fell in love with painting.
Her retirement from dentistry 4 years ago gave her the extra time she needed to pursue this further. She has taken various classes exploring different mediums but mainly paints with acrylics. She continues to study art and has taken numerous classes in London, Ont., California, and just before COVID hit us, travelled to Bellagio, Italy for lessons in oil painting. Sandra loves painting many different subjects - from gorgeous flowers to bare rocks and all in between. Anything that brings joy and beauty to a canvas intrigues and challenges her. sandranicolucci.com |

Toni Ciantar Poole
|
Toni Ciantar Poole is an award-winning artist inspired by the beauty of everyday things. She interprets them in a unique way - like vibrant shadows in the Mediterranean sun or a fried egg still in the pan! - each had a special sparkle that just had to be captured. Putting pigment and brush on paper or canvas then watching the magic keeps this London artist spellbound. Toni has been involved in different aspects of the arts: music, theatre, and visual arts for over 30 years. She generously shares her experiences and knowledge as a private art coach in her home studio, and in galleries she is associated. "My hope is that you will see that wonder and joy in my paintings".

Paul Snoddy
|
Born in Belfast Paul's high school passion for art was left dormant for many years. However in 2016, after more than 30 years as a boilermaker, and following a serious car accident, he found healing and personal expression in acrylic paint. He is self-taught and is keen to challenge himself to learn difficult new techniques while tackling new subjects.
Paul has been described as an 'Industrial Surrealist'. His work is often dark and urban, yet infused with a dream-like whimsy an twisted, ironic humour. Recently, he has returned to Victorian-esque 'Steam-punk' themes in his work. |
Lyn Tremblay
|
While art has always been a constant in her life, since discovering the versatility of polymer clay about 15 years ago, Lyn has found a passion for creating one-of-a-kind pieces of jewellery, and more recently, unique works of wall art and sculpture. Her talents in both have been published in articles in magazines and recognized on popular social media blog sites. "As an artist, my heart, soul, and vision are poured into my works of art," she says. "I hope I bring to each piece some bit of inherited talent, but I must also add thought, take time, and apply techniques I've learned on my artistic journey." As an art form, she hopes her work speaks of authenticity, originality, and quality - as a hand-crafted product it may even bear the fingerprints of its maker. www.facebook.com/lyntremblayoriginals Instagram: lyn_tremblay https://www.lyntremblay.com |
